Contact us

Gather is operated by M3GA Studios LLC. For app support, privacy questions or help with account deletion, email:

support@gatheraway.app

Tell us whether you are using the website or iOS app, what happened and any error message. Include your device/app version when relevant. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes, private invitation links, full financial records or other travelers’ personal information.

Getting into your account

Create an account through public registration when available, or ask an application administrator for an account invitation. If you cannot sign in, ask for a secure recovery link. A trip invitation and an account invitation are different: accepting a trip invitation still requires a signed-in account.

Your username@domain application identity is not an email mailbox. Use your account username to sign in. Passkey availability depends on the client, device and enrolled credential; keep password/recovery access available. Never send us your password.

Finding a trip or changing access

Check My trips and clear any search or filters. Trip access is controlled by its owner and administrators. Ask them for an invitation if you are missing a shared trip; knowing its URL does not grant access.

Voting for an idea does not automatically schedule it. Trip owners and administrators can also add travel days, stays and reservations directly to the itinerary without a vote. A trip’s owner can help with membership and ownership changes.

Notifications

In Settings, check your in-app notification preference and Notifications on this iPhone. If you previously declined permission, use the notification settings action to review your iPhone permission. Website notifications have a separate browser permission; on iPhone, browser push requires an installed home-screen web app. The Updates inbox remains a place to check your activity.

Notifications may be delayed or unavailable because of network or system settings. Open the app for the current trip state. Generic native alerts keep the private details inside your signed-in account.

Currencies and shared costs

Each trip has a base currency for its shared ledger. Members use agreed manual exchange rates or a receipt-specific rate where available. Recorded receipts keep their saved amount and rate; changing a current trip rate does not reprice old expenses.

A preferred display currency is a convenience, rather than a separate payment or bank conversion. Confirm the original receipt, rate direction, rounding and participant splits with your group. Settlement records do not transfer money.

A personal spending allowance is separate from shared costs. A target of 1,600 appears as 1,600 in your preferred currency, or the trip currency if no preference is saved. It is not converted, divided between travelers or automatically reduced by shared expenses.

Premium organizer tools

Premium organizer tools include reusable itinerary templates, alternative budget scenarios and private trip briefs. A free preview may be available while the service is preparing paid plans. A preview never turns into a paid subscription automatically.

One trip owner’s organizer access covers the trip’s travelers. A reusable itinerary can be saved with your own access or the source trip owner’s access; applying it uses the target trip owner’s access. Account-wide administrator permissions do not grant membership in another group’s trip.

Budget scenarios are alternatives in their saved currency, with explicit traveler-count assumptions. They never change expenses, debts or personal spending allowances. Trip briefs are private copies: notes and booking references are optional, and a shared or downloaded copy cannot update or revoke automatically. Existing saved-data controls and core calendar exports remain available under normal permissions when access ends.

When web subscriptions are available, compare the current offer on the pricing page. Existing customers can review their subscription and stop future renewal through billing settings and its hosted Stripe portal. Cancelling normally preserves access through the paid period; contact support for a refund request or a billing problem. Your legal right to dispute a charge is unchanged.

Policies

Our terms explain the rules for using Gather. Our privacy policy explains the information we collect, the choices you have and how to make a request.

Accessibility on iPhone and iPad

Gather follows the system text size and appearance in the native app and respects Reduce Motion. You can change text size in Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Larger Text, or motion in Settings → Accessibility → Motion. Gather uses named controls, headings and visible focus to support assistive navigation.

To report an accessibility barrier, email support@gatheraway.app with the screen, device, iOS version and assistive feature you use. Please leave out private trip details. We are continuing real-device testing with VoiceOver, larger text and Voice Control; automated checks do not establish complete compatibility.

Deleting your account

Open Settings and find Delete your account. Review the ownership and administrator handover steps, then use your current password and the requested confirmation. Eligible solo-trip deletion requires a separate explicit choice. Shared history and balances remain under “Deleted traveler”; personal details written inside shared text are not automatically removed.

If you cannot sign in or need help completing a deletion request, contact support@gatheraway.app. Read the Privacy policy for the information retained and the backup boundary.
